The plight of widows in Afghanistan is one that has saddened and outraged many of us around the world. We have set a goal to help improve this situation through practical training and education to enable a widow to become self-sufficient even with limited formal education.

By attending handicraft, baking, tailoring, business and literacy classes these women will be able to support themselves and their children.  Please consider partnering with us as we continue in this work in Afghanistan.  No gift is too small and your support helps us to establish a reasonable budget so that we can make longer-term plans necessary to complete the project.  Your contribution will make a difference.  I wish to each and every one of you who contributed to the financial support of this project since it began in 2003 and I pray that God will bless you and your family in the year ahead as you blessed us.

De Solay Daywa Foundation is a 501(c)(3) California not for profit corporation, all gifts are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Rotary International, the Sebastopol Rotary Club, Hayward Sunset Rotary Club and the Los Altos Sunset Rotary Club we have now expanded the De Solay Daywa Vocational School. Significant material aid is on the way so keep watching this spot to see our progress.
